The production process is similar to knitting textiles: a cotton or wool cloth with a width of up to 400 cm is created from multiple threads. Weaving is a sophisticated manufacturing technique in which yarns are woven together in a structured pattern. 

This process combines two thread directions: warp (longitudinal threads) and weft (transverse threads), which are precisely worked together.

Tufting is an advanced production method in which yarns are mechanically incorporated into a substrate. During this process, needles bring the yarns through a primary backing and provide a firm anchorage. Depending on the finish, the yarn loops remain uncut (loop pile) or are cut (cut pile), leading to varying structures and textures.
