The Supreme Court of the Netherlands

The Hague (NL)
1803 Hoge Raad (Kaan Architecten) (4)

The Supreme Court of the Netherlands is located in the historic city centre of The Hague, along the Korte Voorhout next to Malieveld Park. The building is designed with an open and transparent character, in harmony with the city and its promenade. The entrance, featuring six bronze statues and a glass façade, creates a seamless transition from the street to the interior. Inside, high ceilings, light grey limestone, and a central skylight contribute to a bright and spacious atmosphere. The upper floors house offices, a library, meeting rooms, and informal gathering spaces that encourage social interaction.
